This Slashdot Link is an link (to maybe an link) of an article dealing with the Psychology behind Facebook users. An interesting Discovery made: showing of how many virtual friends seems to make people happy (if they got many friends) and unhappy (if they have not so many friends).
Myself, i have not so many friends, as i just used it to check out the features, just like i did with this tumblr account.
